Hluboka nad Vltavou
Castle Hluboka nad Vltavou is considered to be the most romantic castle in the Czech Republic. It arose as a result of the rebuilding of the 18th century king’s fortress. It was rebuilt in a romantic Gothic style and was inspired by the English Windsor.
Today it houses the largest collection of tapestries in the Czech Republic. In Alshova Southern Czech gallery there is a permanent collection of sculptures and wood paintings. You can also visit the local Zoo and the hunting castle Ohrada situated nearby.
