Kingdom of Spain
The Kingdom of Spain is the larger of the two countries in South-western Europe comprising the Iberian Peninsula (the other country being Portugal).
The image of Spain is not limited to bullfights, flamenco dancing and crowded beaches. Spain – a picturesque and diverse country with green rolling hills in the northern regions reminiscent of Ireland and beautiful southern regions – give you the feel and spirit of Moroccan landscapes and architecture. Spain’s rich history is reflected in prehistoric cave paintings, Moorish palaces, ancient castles, Roman ruins, Gothic and Renaissance cathedrals as well as unique modern architecture. The origin of the country’s uniqueness is the fact that it was composed of separate kingdoms, each having its distinctive characteristics. Until now, Spain’s regions vary in culture, cuisine, art and even language.
